We just recently returned the Toyota Innova King. Its not the first time being in Davao, but it is our first time renting as we have big family plans. We choose to have our first rental experience of engaging with Davao Car Rental. Trustworthy, smooth transition and safe! First thing first, our family are happy with the trip from Davao to Bukidnon for a week. We travelled to Gensan too. I highly recommend Davao Car Rental to any locals as well as foreigners. If you are from ASEAN, you just need passport and your home license to book. I’m a Singaporean who drove the family and the booking and driving are all 100% tip top quality.

We had some trouble with the exchange rates given on their payment platform if we are pay using Debit card, but the customer service are very professional and understand we want the best and save money. Before anything, we discussed and agreed the payment to be paid using card for deposit and cash for the pick up. So that we wont lose out on the rates. We asked a lot of questions, such as the seat sequence just to ensure that the car is really 8 seater (2-3-3). They ensured us it is and we were relieve to continue with our family plans, with the information they provided in timely manner.

Originally we booked at 5.30PM but the flight changed its timing to arrival at 4.30PM. We made changes with them to change the booking pick up to 4.30PM, but sadly, our clearance was late and we only collected the car almost close to 7PM. Nevertheless, the staff were patience and we are embarrassed with our own lateness.

On return day, they offered free 2hrs extension. As we were stuck in NCC for official documents submission. They did an extra miles for us which is a humbly experience.

The car is clean. The tyres are shinny. The car is well maintained for long drive, so when you drive, you feel like it is your own because it’s a safe car. I know, cause I’m a driver myself. We asked if we can send to our own car wash and they allowed it. They give you full tank and we return full tank.

There are extra charges which is said in the letter.
There is 10,000pesos deposit.
Daily mileage given to you is 250km. So ours is 250km x 7 = 1750km. If you want more, theres additional.
There are extension and fuel penalty if you exceed or you do not return full tank. But you have ease of mind options, such as additional fee for return any amount of fuel, driver (per day) and many others. Basically if you are not sure of anything, ask them. They will help you out quickly!

For deposit wise, they will check the car condition. Return within 7-10 business days. Which is really easy.
